I've stated to Mods numerous times now am totally against non paid members being allowed to advertise in the forsale section, for free they get to sell their wordly goods, Z related or not, private or trader, this would stop if they paid 20 quid to join properly, if it didn't stop completly at least the club get some funds out of it, so in short "General section only" the rest for veiwing only.

Smithy I have put this forward before with committee conferance calls,however not everyone agrees that non subscribed should not be allowed to sell things.

All well said points of view just remember most of us like to browse other forums too and make the odd post without wanting to subscribe to them. We dont want people from other forums who have an interest but dont own a Z to be booted out, it isnt fair to expect them to pay really but it is fair that if you own a Z and post often then you should subscribe. Maybee people should be able to pay cash at the shows this year to make it easier because some people are just a bit lazy when it comes to posting cheques and stuff, I know because I do it with the gas and phone bill all the time :D

Peter you have been around for much longer than the paypal subscription has been going and the nagging has been a recent thing!

Don't really know what to say in reply but I'm just an ordinary guy who likes Datsun's/Nissans,got 3 Z32's like to drive them on a budget fix them myself and browses this forum.

True, when I first found the forum there weren't any subscriptions, since subscriptions were introduced I don't do cheques. Did say I would pay if paypal was introduced, hadn't got round to it when the nagging post happened. How sad would it be if I paid next day cos I'd been nagged!

Fraid there were subscriptions when you joined by people who were willing to fork out to stop this site from going under!

 

Sure peter you can carry on and make this a point of principle if that is how you wanna define it, but it is about people helping each other out that have a passion for 300's. We are not here to make money from each other or get one over, it is something that is a bit old fashioned maybe, enthusiasm.
