im fitting a transmission temp gauge to my japp tt auto, has anjy one got one of these fitted?

if so is there somewhere to scwrew in sendor or will i have to drill and weld adapter into sump pan?

I would have thought that fitting it on the 'in' side of the oil cooler would be appropriate.

Yea if he has an aftermarket oil cooler fitted,can just imagine trying to drill holes in the rad end tanks :rolleyes:

hey guys!

i am fitting oil cooler kit and changeing oil at same time! so gonna have cooler and sump pan in hands to play with! just wondered where best to fit sendor? only prob with fitting to cooler is that its under pressure so more prone to leaks and prob not as accurate as connecting to box!

I will be shortly doing the same , and will be as Andy has suggested putting the sender unit in the IN line of the auto box oil cooler
