How the hell can the 2 cars be "written off" by one reversing off the drive and the other pulling out of a junction. What are they mady of? Glass?

mmm, these are the little problems that owning a scooby can create, be warned!

(what more proof do you need that the Coppers hate Scooby drivers!)

I can imagine the conversation this guy had with his solicitor! (who pursuaded him not to bring legal actions to bear just now!) - and I wonder how often he's in that solicitor's office.

Maybe they should make a tv show about him, would be the reality shows we currently have to suffer!

Anybody can go to a solicitors and claim this that & the other,

still has to be proved if it got to court, and doing it to a neighbour

is just plain shitty!

This guy sounds like ''Norris'' from corrie!

Should have sorted it out face to face, he claimed he didn't want to

cause any ill feeling between the two families.

He obviously did, as the guy felt the need to post it on the scooby site!

TBH, the ex bogey should be tied to a lamp post, and when the streetlights

come on..........he should be shot.

go and sh1it through his letter box, better still and probably easier , wipe your ass on his letter and post it back.

What an ar$ehole.

I fookin hate people like that, obviously has no life.

Funny thread though. I couldn't help but read al of it.

A t*****r.

My street has parking down both sides and cos of the width of the Z it sticks way out into the road further than the others. 1 night i had my door mirror smashed off and door and wing scratched by another car( thanks to Jeff at Zworld for another mirror ).

Police took details but did nothing.

I was advised by the officer concerned to "park your car on the path, as long as it doesnt block it". I asked what the laws were regarding footpath parking. He said it wasnt illegal as long as there was room for people to walk along the path taking into account that they may have a pushchair or double pushchair. I now park on the footpath leaving plenty of room for pedestrians if i leave her outside for any length of time. No more problems other than by way of letter from neighbour complaining that i had parked illegally.

A bit peeved that they hadnt come to me personally, so i thought id do the same.I got in touch with the police officer who had advised me to park there and after a long chat ( hes a nice bloke and quite normal surprisingly HA HA) he said he would call and explain the situation next time he was in the area. Well blow me down he was there about an hour later and after seeing my neighbour he came to see me and said it was all sorted and that there would be no more problems. I asked him about leaving it there during the day which I have to some times with regard to parking tickets and he said if I ever got one to write in and give his name and number and that he had advised me to park that way.

Maybe I was just lucky or maybe there really are some rationally thinking police officers out there who use common sense instead of sticking like glue to the letter of the law and interpret it according to the circumstances concerned.

Anybody else had some experiences like this or am i the only one?

Generally Plods are solid types. There's always the exception and, it has to be said, when they retire they all get alzheimers and turn doolaly!

arf arf!
