At the weekend I ended up with the Z leaking coolant everywhere, resulting in loads of steam etc. Turns out that one of the two pipes running from the rear of the engine to the bulkhead was leaking. I'm fitting the new pipes tonight, but there could be a problem. The damaged pipe had only a small hole in it (and it was on the other side of the jubilee clip) - but the amount of coolant leaking was huge (It went through a whole radiator full in less than 15 minutes as I plodded home). So, I was wondering if:
a) This has happened to anyone else
b) The heater pipes which come out of the bulkhead could be damaged themselves.
Any ideas greatly appreciated
Ch
