Just received one of these from Chris@GetGReddy - looks a great piece of kit, will be doing some...err...testing at lunchtime :D:D

Sadly not in the zed tho lol, any predictions for 0-60 & 1/4mile in a 1994 Mondeo 1.8LX in the wet hehe? I did 17.5s 1/4 mile at Pod in the dry so I'll see how it compares if I can find a good road.

Anyone got one?

Pete

Herman's got mine , not sure if he has done anything with it though :cool:

0-60?.. 12 seconds?!

I /really/ wanna have a play with one of these things. Didn't see you at SE this morning Ryan. Washed my car in the dark specially too!

sorry mate feel really bad now , I am gonna go tomorrow instead as the weather is supposed to be really good , Anyway at least you have a clean car mate :rolleyes: :cool:

12 secs... I'm sure I managed it in the SE Mondeo whilst racing Martin in his M3. I was right up there with him until he engaged 1st and let his clutch up.

Don't worry about it Ryan - you'd only be laughing at all the bits I missed ;) Pete's doubtful he'll doing anything today, considering the weather. So you never know, I'll probably be there tomorrow as well.

Mike - your car, or your G-Tech thing?! I might have known you've got one - it's a gadget, innit!? :) I notice all the people you've been backing into have had their revenge on your motor! :eek: Damn man, that's a real sh*t!

That was great fun!! :D:D:D:D

Best stats, that I can remember :D (In the Mondeo remember lol ;) )

0-60 -> 10.69sec

1/4mile -> 16.85secs@86mph

Braking 'g' -> 0.81 :bow:

Didnt do cornering 'g' or a full 60-0 brake.

Dead easy to set up I thought, though I had a mate in the car to press GO etc.

Pete

You can press go and it won't start recording until it detects movement,

you are meant to do 5 runs with the gtech and drop the highest and lowest results and work out the average between the remaining 3.

I've found mine to be pretty consistant, its hard finding a straight stretch of land around here though

Just out of curiosity, what weight are people putting in???

I generally put in

3480lbs for the car and add 165lbs for me + a bit for petrol so 3680lbs

Braking 'g' -> 0.81 :bow:

Crikey! And it didn't roll over forwards?! :)

Yeah anything around 3600lbs should be about right :)
