I used adrian flux when I was 20

0ncb and it worked out to about 2200 tpf&f

You are probably going to have problems with it being an import, mine is a UK model

When I hit 21 it went down to £1200 big saving :)

You could try and get someone else to insure it with you asa named driver until you're 21? Your NCB will be retained for two years so it won't lapse.

I went FC with Adrian Flux for £2500 when I was 22, 1yr NCB... maybe go 3rd party for a year or two? Your choice obviously :)

Tesco will insure you at 20, im 21 4 years no claims, t,p,f,t £1150

Someone has to say it, so...

Tried Houghton's yet? If they can't do the cheapest at least they tell you why... I live in one of those postcodes that includes three good estates and one like the Bronx, so no classic insurance for me. :( However I am paying the same for the Z as I am for the daily driver, even though the NCB is on the daily driver! (And that means I can use the Z for SDP, which means the odd trip into the office when I'm in the mood...)

sigh! guess am just gonna have to stick it out til am 21 n hope for th best

have tried all those companies on that list and no luck

I was with Priviledge before I found out about Houghton's, but they might not do young drivers. Worth a try though?

classic insurance isn't always the cheapest

I was on a classic policy with them at 18 with an MG midget, there classic quote for the 300zx was more, I got the cheapest quote by not being opn classic insurance.

A guy i know bought tt import, he's 21.

He told me he got insurance for £1300!!!

Not sure what cover it is though, i'll see him later

and ask who it was with.

Watch this space! :)
