I bought a normally aspirated 300 recently.

The roads have been pretty slippery so it seems plenty quick enough. But maybe one day I'll want more power.

I realise turboing it would cost what... £4K maybe?

But I reckon nitrous would be more like £1K.

Does anyone know if it's been done?

can the engine and gearbox handle the extra power ok?

Cheers folk

Yea i know i was just drunk and trying to wind people up

Essentially i think if you want a super high performance car you have to get a TT. If you want a very nice, fast car, a na will do just fine.

I think they appeal to a slightly different market.

I myself was looking at getting a na until i found oout how expensive the insurance is! Thankgod for uk cars.

lol, at least you had a turbo on yours...

Had a Renault 5 GTL 1.4, what a beast :D

I didn't want to mention the Allegro that I had before the Renault  Saying that, it didn't even make it off the driveway lol so I wasn't seen driving it

I had a close shave about 4 months ago in my 425 BHP TT, a Golf (Dont know what model it was) gave me a real run for my money it was stuck right on my tailgate right up to about 125 and only from then onwards did i slowly start to leave it a short distance behind. It really motored (Probably a VR 6). At the roundabout the guy eyeballed me as if to say "Had ya worried" and I have to admit he did that golf was pushin some serious power.

Sorry but I feel that someone should take the role of sanity police here.

If you want a fast zed, you HAVE to start with a TT. ANyone with an NA talking about serious tuning and mods just has no idea what the word FAST means. Period!

The only reason for buying an NA is that you can't afford the insurance or maintenance on a TT. And TT's are just the cheapest supercar in the known fookin world, so all you NA owners are cheapskates and you know it.

The best thing to do with an NA is burn it, claim the insurance and buy a proper zed!

Sorry guys, but sometimes the truth hurts, you have to be cruel to be kind etc etc!

nige best post in the fookin world lmgdfao. rich my shit heap tt is a swb with 33000 km on its back and you would defo want to swap your womans car for it :D but i like it too much so you cant
