Bad morning

Somehow reversed the Z into my neighbours Punto this morning. Doh!

Just a bit of splintered paint on the bumper and no damage to his car.

Just moved in a couple of weeks back and not even introduced myself until today :-(

Just didn't look behind me...what an arse!

LOL

Driving through the garage door takes some beating!

Anyone else want to own up to being a hazard on the road?

My worst example was years ago when I was about 19 and had a crappy Renault and started to reverse in front of the local shop with misted up windows. Only to hear a scream and some woman ran into the shop shouting about an old lady being run over! Turns out the old dear had been leaning on the back of my car and fell over when I put it in reverse!

The shop owner ran out expecting to see blood n guts but the old biddy was stood up and obviously OK. The woman turned out to be the old dears daughter and asked me my name and address as she was going to report me to the police...

I thought fair enough they would probably laugh at the charge anyway.

I apologised but said I didn't see her when I got in the car and she shouldn't have been leaning on my car anyway when they must have seen me get in and heard me start the engine.

Next morning at home I got up to find I had a log 2 feet long and a foot in diameter sat on the parcel shelf through the rear windscreen.

:-(

Bitch!

ava300, you're not the only one...

Backing out of the garage a bit too enthusiastically one morning I clipped the frame - put a dent in the left front wheel arch and made a mess of the corner of the bumper... Used it as an excuse to get a new Scarab nose =)

The very first day I drove home from the bodyshop, I rolled up too close to a kerb with my new too-bloody-sexy-to-clear-kerbs bumper and put a nice white scrape along the bottom edge of it... sigh... =)
