Hi all

I was in Smiths this lunch time looking at a big colour used car buying guide (I forget which one). I turned to the sports car section to see what it said about the ZX......

......"true japanese supercar. to sum up in one word......Fantastic...."

They gave it 4 stars. I could only see 2 cars in the same class with 5 stars, the R34 GTR and new Porsche 911 (the 996). The poor old Pork 928 could only muster a mere 3 stars

Then we knew this all along, eh?

Richard :p

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

parkers reckons its a wannabe supercar.

i'd go along with that statement, however you could also say its the grand tourer the supercars want to be!

"... with a slightly wideboy image"

You missed off the best bit :D:D

 Max Power voted it as bein one of the top 5 best doughnut cars of all time

well that lowers the tone doesn't it!

(is that how you bent your car against a van then???)

I have two books about super & sports cars.

The Z is not mentioned which is very puzzeling!

Whenever I go into a remainders bookshop I have a look at the supercar / sports car books to see if we're in there - thinking my money's safe because we never are!

But in the Works in Trafford Centre last month, we find "Supercars - High Peformance Machines"

Two double-spreads no less!

"The new model was one of the fastest and best-handling sports cars of its day."

"Nissan spared no technical trick with the V6"

and "It's an absolutely precise system"

"It was gimmicky, but all the advanced technology was there for a good reason - to enable it to compete on equal terms with the best in the world."
