How do you lock the hicas without an eliminater bar?

Pulling the fuse only works on the electronic 94+ or whatever it was. On hydraulic you loose the PAS too!

To disable it short the fluid level sensor or disconnet the sensor on the steering wheel.

I thought only later models had HICAS anyway?

I want to know how the car handles without hicas, some say its better and some say its worse. Just wanna find out for myself.
