For those of you who have ConZult you will know exactly what I'm talking about. :hyper:

One of the main features of version 2.0 of the conZult is the ROM reader.

Basically the new feature allows us to view the timing/fuelling/ignition maps in our EPROM. We can also back this info up burn copies of our EPROM without removing it from the ECU.

Therefore if we look at our chart form the Thor dyno day and realise we have a flat spot between 5 - 6k rpm we can get a known chip writer to burn our current EPROM onto a chip but adjust the fuelling etc. at this 5 - 6krpm area.

It's all very exciting :hyper:

Mate got his Scooby STI tuned in motion with a laptop interfaced to to ecu - seems it can re program it as you drive it. The chap who did it took a serious charge for a couple of hours work and extensive test driving. I understand the improvement was significant

So I take it you cant re program a zed eprom while still using it?

Stu,

You need to get out more!! :D :D :)

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

The new ROM feature is great also.

Alastair.

Got my GRP bonnet done now but Pete couldn't get out today to do my tuning :( BOB's on holiday grrrr.

Be nice to be able to use the conZult to write the data back, cos I'll tune my own Zed. And bugger it up of course
