I was pretty sure she was going to be written off after the little twat crashed into her on Saturday, but £3500 of repairs have just been authorised for my Zed.

 

Full marks to Lifesure/NIG for getting it sorted quickly as well as getting me a hire car. These are like rocking horse sh*t around here at the moment due to the number of accidents last week

 

Also full marks to Norwich Union (the other parties insurers) for not being awkward since there were no witnesses.

Insurance companies tend to if the repairs are half the value of the car then its a write off. Good to see someone values the car high ;)

Got a letter from NIG says that due to the circumstances of the incident they would not expect me to pay the excess which I would nomally have to get back from the third pary insurers via legal assistance.
