overdrive

is it ok to run in overdrive all the time i always have mine switched on just wondrin if it causes any harm.

yeah its just 4th gear for the auto, and more fuel efficient in top gear, i usually turn it off on winding roads as its more drivebale, more engine breaking etc.

I just found this switch today - cool another button on the Zed to play with and it brings up a nice light on the dashboard - so that bit works at least! Surely Overdrive + Power is one of those oxy-moron thingies?

ok cheers for that just didnt want to use it all the time if it was going to affect the car.

over drive is just enabling the extra gear, where as Power lets it rev all the way to the red line, so 2 different attributes are in effect.
