Luckily I wasn't hasty getting my car repaired from the previous incident of someone hitting me and scarpering,

 

lsat night whilst sitting at a roundabout stopped a white vectra manged to plow into the side of me, several scratches from front to back and the front wing is ****ed and passenger door won't open, I'll get some photo's up later.

 

Glad it was the same side, anyone know if I can get he whole car resprayed? its going to look a bloody mess otherwise :(

Its worked out well tho , you can claim from his insurance now and drop the 1st claim on your own insurance.

I reckon they'll try and spray just the damaged side , which isnt good enuff ,

so be forcefull and tell them u want complete respray ,

oh.. ask if u can have it yellow too.. :-)

Well depending on what is damaged most of the car will need to be sprayed anyway due to belnding.

by law you can have your car repaired at a garage of your choice, funny most bodyshops trade under 2 names ???all you have to do is obtain 2 quotes. the third parties insurance will try to make you take it to a bodyshop of there choice, don't get bullied.all insurance companys will not wish to get into a long fight due to cost and the fact no one likes them including magistrates. sorry to hear about the damage

Cheers guys, I've had accidents in the past just never with the zed, Ideal result for me will be a new wing and a respray even if it is the normal white. It looks like there is a dent in the rear wing as well so the whole of that side and the rear bumper is going to need respraying,

 

Depends on what the assessor says really I guess, It could be patched up, but I don't want some half ass job done seeing as I've spent a lot of money already making it look dent and rust free.

Sorry to hear that mate, talk to peter mike, he is very flexible and I think you might need a new 99 front bumper!!!

 

Most of the scratches won't show up due to the nature of flash photography, I just don't want a car with splodgy repair work :(

 

I think the dirt realy offsets the damage well heh, I think ill hose it down tomorrow, I was going to spend today polishing :(

 

The damage from someone reversing into it is apparant as well, the dent at the front, it basically looks like i've plowed into someone and ****ed my car up, sucks when people will be thinking that and you know you havnt done the damage yoursef

Agree the last thing you want is a Z that looks like a patchwork quilt. As Russ said don't be bullied into taking it where the ins co says...........go to PPS, or that one near you you recommend. Get a nice quote ;) then get whole car sprayed.

did the accident cause the damage to the rim of that rear wheel too? ;)

looks like a full respray, needs a new wing and front bumper, gonna get some other bits and bobs sorted at the same time :)
