Heater Question, again!

Since replacing my matrix, every time I start the car, I can hear the coolant filling up the matrix. It does this every time. My question is, should it be doing this? Is it supposed to stay in there or return to the engine/rad once the engine is off?

 

Any ideas?

    Sounds like air in the system - try to bleed it and see if that helps. Otherwise you may have a leak somewhere.
