hi every one does any one know what the diameter of the air flow meter is in inches, (just so i don't have to take it apart in the snow)

 

theres a few on e-bay (red auto salon ones) with a 3'' diameter fitting, HKS style).

 

has anyone seen these, are they any good for our cars?

Yer close mate, 76mm is 3inch... show us the link to the ebay ones Jim and if yours is knackered (or anyone elses) am after a fooked one for research.

Hi Jim, yeah basically it's a HKS copy and plenty of em around the market, in fact i see em going for as cheap as 20 quid mate !! basically any filter with a 3in neck will fit our car, yer just need an AFM adapter plate, erm which i do for £35, i can also do stainless blitz stylee filters for 35 quid, so all in all an induction for 70 quid mate, either way unless you buy apexi, you need an adpter plate.
