Anyone want to post up their results from Thor, I'll make an excel spread sheet like Ryan did for the SE RR.

I think the only thing that will be different between auto's and manuals is the ft/lb torque as I think the auto's were tested in 2nd and the manuals in 4th.

Here's mine

368.9 ft/lb Torque @ 72mph @ 3910rpm

355.2 HP @ 124mph @ 6692rpm

So are you saying that the only person you think hit 400 BHP at the fly with stock tubs was JD with 358 @ the hubs ?

Yes at at a boost pressure that can be run everyday!

FWHP?

Never said it was impossible just very difficult, the only guy I think definately had it was John Dixon!

You have to lose some BHP, because there was no tyres/wheels involved, which in your case has to be a bonus

pah!! at least mine has power at the wheels, not at the workshop!! :xxx:

So how can such a 'normal' car beat the well modified ones?

I'm confused! - seems that extra boost pressure doesn't make aload of difference after all. What's you secret John?

I can't tell you that, it's a secret!!

TBH, most of it is just looking after it properly (excluding the fuel system apparently - oops!)

Other than that, ZFR7F-11 (el cheapo £1.50 copper) plugs, some timing map tweaks and that's about it.

Thing is, had cj/Tony C's been running right they'd have been much more impressive. I hope they both get them sorted.

It shows it can be done though, Stu's is the same.

That's right scoops just you lot wait:D;)

Don't give the game away yet MAC......my Z isn't back on the road yet :D :D

Probably shows that a well-balanced setup is the secret instead of whacking a boost controller on...

Anyone got some curves we can look at? (So to speak. :D)

erm there's nothing in my sig about any mods mate , are you sure you got the right guy or you been on the whacky again

It's an off the shelf chip. ;)

Sorry it's not your sig. Have a look at the first post on this thread you refer to Mods just above your sig. And I'me always on the Optimax ;)

Naturally cos of the Snow my Zed hasn't been seen to. Will have to see what Century Pete re-schedules my car for this time  Probably just as well as with the cold, the car would make more power and probably not det. Rather he tunes the car in a warmer environment.
