Damn, I broke a coil pack connector cap........they are awkward to get on.

Anyone know where I can get one?

 

Can you do without them? what should be done it the meantime? tape over the top with insulation tape?

I don't think you can buy these on their own.

You will be ok without them however it will speed up the deteriation of the wiring.

 

Coil pack connectors are not that expensive from courtesy, they only sell them in sets of 4 (pulsar ones) so find another who also needs then and buy 3 sets of 4.

I tried Courtesy, $58 per 4 coil pack wiring harness (must be Pulsar I guess) they do not sell just the cap. For that price I wont bother, will make something up that will protect the wiring. There must be something that is a similar shape that can be adapted.

I found something that should give good protection to the wiring on the coil pack ends.......heat shrinkable plastic end caps, available in various sizes from RS Components. The size that looks about the right one (35mm that shrinks down to 15mm) for about £3 each, 5 min. order + £4.95 postage (unless you have an account then postage is free)

John! I have got new connectors for my coilpacks and have will have a couple of excellent condition one's left over you are welcome to.

Erm.....haven't got around to doing them yet but will be very soon.
