The Japanese Auto Extravaganza 2004 is deffinatly on

there have been a couple of hiccups after last years event that are now sorted

No one has come forward to take over the running of the show from me and it has now been decided as the show is so big that the only way to carry on is to use the services of a dedicated events company and this has now been done and it is all systems go

will post up updates and contact numbers as they become available

date for 2004 is the weekend of July 25/26 :hyper:

Well I have to say that that is as clear as mud.

 

Can someeone who knows the score please, please, please answer the following:

 

1. when I arrive (Saturday morning), can I definitely pay on the gate (i.e . is it likely to sell out).

 

2. can I definitely park on the 300zx stand, and will someone direct me to it when I get there?

 

3. is the camping area next to the cars? If not, do I need to reserve a space for that seperately?

4. Can I reserve a decent space on the 300zx area. Coming down from Newcastle on Sat morning so will not get there til fairly late on.

Definitely pay on the gate- it wont sell out ;)

No problem on the stand, plenty of room apparently

We're hoping to camp near the stand, probably wont find out till the day- if we do I think the tents have to be down by 9AM

The whole site is 'one way' so you cant get lost.

Have a look- I think there is a thread with the layout of the clubs- we are between the older zeds and the 350's :duffer:

Well their I was about to start braggin about my "New to me" Skyline and what happens. I arrive and the deal is all but done and there he has a Volvo C70 T5R and I'm smitten. I know you guys will proberbly say I'm nuts but the skyline was a 98 GTS Mspec body and Volvo is a 98 T5R. Thats 4x4 300 BHP all singing all dancing and beautiful anyway deals done ,but same question. :hyper: :dance: :dance:

Ok,Billing works like this,same for all types of car shows/meets etc,have been to many in various vehicles,,once you have paid to enter Billing at the kiosks you are entitled to park virtualy anywhere,on the roads/grass/pubs/lakes etc,but you can not park on club stands if you have not arranged it with those clubs etc,but theres nothing to stop anyone parking whatever they want as close as they can get as long as its off the stand area ,i shall be parking my BMW within 10ft of 300zx.co.uk if i find a space :D

I've just been to see my Z this morning and I'd be suprized if it is ready for weekend. So it looks like C70 T5R to billing. Oh ya did I mention that its Pearl Samon PINK :shock:
