Does anybody know if it is possible to fit the Jap power/hold button on the auto box to a UK auto Z?? I think I've heard someone here mention it before.

I can answer this..... Yes you can, reason I know when swopping a broken jap auto over a couple of years ago the auto specialist had done that very job for a previous customer, according to them there is an external solenoid,some piping and the gearbox ecu to change all this is available now from salvage yards,it may be easyier though to swop the whole box.The effects though are an increase in selectable gear change parameters which make for more control and more smile factor.
