Looked fairly standard apart from an aftermarket spoiler and twin 5" pipes - but it sounded superb. Got to find out what exhaust system it had. Anyone going to own up?

Hi James - Not any more I'm afraid. I called Luke's bodyshop to find out how much they would charge to fit it....and they said around £500! For that I could get the leather interior done! I think I'm going to go for the new spoiler instead. I think Matty was after it though...

Charles get a quote from Peter@PPS in the trader section.

Cheers Mac, but he's the wrong end of the country!

apart from the aftermarket spoiler that might have been me, but it wasnt :)

There seem to be an increasing number floating about croydon/ surrey area

yeah...but the drivers all seem so miserable! I haven't stopped smiling since I bought mine...except when I almost wrote her off...and blew the turbo seals...and one of the pistons...:D

My mate works in Redhill and I was actually following this Z when I was on my way home from going over to his work.

Couldn't get any reaction from the driver and I was behind him (oo-er) for quite a way.

Miserable bugger.

I think it's a Surrey thing - the Kent and Sussex boys (and one quite fit girl) seem to enjoy their z's much more - eager to smile and stop for a chat!

well I can only speak for myself and cybernet who both live in surrey and cant see either of us being snooty, though in fairness I cant really class myself as a surrey boy, so that just leaves steve :)

But if you see (or more likely hear) my red NA about, flag me down :)

Quite right - same goes for me! :D :D :D

When I get her back I'll make sure I do when I see you - doubt whether I'll be able to catch up either of you in the 1.1 Clio I'm using at the moment!

Same goes for me - Low-slung dark metallic grey import with 99 spec bumpers and LED rear lights - can't miss her! :D

I think that was the day i bought my red zed and i drove through redhill to get it home.

It is a red NA, 4" inch tailpipes (but it does sound f-ing sweet!!) aftermarket spoiler. With one additional thing... it does have silver flames down the side. Was it me???

Guess you didnt see the flames coz you were too far behind me??? :)

I've seen a red Zed around the Horsham area now and again, couldn't catch up in time to wave though.

I've got a red import and live in Redhill too. Standard (bubbling) spoiler and mongoose exhaust though, so it wasn't me.

If you see me and you're in a Z, flag me down. If you're in something else, I may not notice and, even if I do, I may assume you want to complain about my driving, so I might not stop anyway! :)

I just got a bit p*ssed off with the way things were going. :( Seems to have calmed down a bit now though.

The job situation got a bit complicated too and this place has way too much temptation when you're trying not to spend money... ;)
