Whats That Noise?

can anyone tell me,.....i get what sounds like a small compressor noise after backing off the throttle when driving slow.what the hell is it?is it normal?i got a uk z tt,93,with 72000 on the clock.ta.:(

    Define compressor noise.

     

    Like the sound of a compressor engine or the hiss sound?

     

    Could be a few things. May be the centre propshaft bearing worn out causing the shaft to vibrate.

     

    Could be your exhust rattling against something, or the heat sheild lose.

    to define the compressor type noise,its a knoking for about 3 or 4 seconds after i lift off the gas,i heard someone say once that something needs to be drained..not sure..

    just went for a blast in the z and now after a while i get a noise that sounds like when you rev a radio controled car to the max,this happens when im accelerating.never heard it before.help.....:(
