having trouble gettin air out of system,

have found a larger pipe that is connected to hydraulic system that runs along inner wing to the front of car behind headlight

it as a bleed valve on the end of it but why is it there as it seems to be the cause of the problem, can it be done away with or is there an easier way to bleed the system.

there's one on the slave cylinder and that one, you'll need to bleed from both. As to why it's there, I have no idea!

I've never done this myself but from posts here I think there are 2 bleed points for the clutch system. A bit of searching should pop up the answer - either here or on http://www.300zx.org.uk

The long bleed pipe & valve was not fitted on mine and as a result you have to remove the slave cylinder from the car and turn it upside down to bleed it. works fine and only takes 30 secs to remove the two bolts.
