Hi,

I have a hks EVC, which came from a jap import, all it says on the box is HKS EVC, with a sticker underneath is

HKS VIII 05855

Does anyone know where I can source instructions for this model?

Get me a pic to confirm and i'll see what i can dig up :)

Awww shucks :p :D

I think there should be a solenoid too. This would be the bit that goes under the bonnet and connects 3 vacuum pipes to wastegate etc.

Thanks for trying to help tony, but you sent me evc III and not evc VIII:cry:

I thought the EVC V was the latest?

I thought that EVC VIII stood for version 3,then EVC VIIII is version 4,and EVC VIIIII for the new version 5 model, they did one named EVC EZ was a basic no frills model, most have same set up except for the new 5 version, maybe best if you could post a pic:confused:

Hi tony,

You could well be right, I presumed it was the roman numbers and meant 8, but it does look different to the instructions you sent me. All the buttons are on the right, anyway I took a picture, just gotta work out how to get it on here!!!!!

Here are Mark's pics

Personally I cant wait to hear that the Turbo Convertible is running.

Happy New Year to one and all Zed and Porker owners!

Ok Mark ,its defo an EVC IV(4),looks the same as a EVC EZ,but yours has the sbc button(scramble mode),its not a EVCIII(3) as they were all push button features, wheres as yours has a manual volume knob, which so happens so does the EVC EZ

What they probably did was use the chassis(there all the same)from a 3,may well have beenwhen production was changing from a 3 to the 4 they used up some spare chassis, saw something same on a Greddy Profec, slight difference due to it being a import(JDM )version. There are plenty of instalation write ups for the EVC4 on net so you should be ok there, hve you got the stepper motor that should of come with it,;) Tony

Hi

There is something like that but it is cylindrical and has a solenoid near the battery tray which looks like it is something to do with boost:confused:
