Right first off - my HICAS and speedo seem to have fixed themselves. All it needed was a top up of fluid and disconnected the battery for a moment.

So - out for a blast this afternoon and was joining the M25 at Jct 10 (A3) heading for Heathrow. I gunned it down the on-ramp and the thing did the BIGGEST fish tale slidey moment I've ever experienced !! ALL OVER THE PLACE ! And I was going in a straight line !!

It scared the sh*t out of me and I guess all the other cars nearby as everyone backed right off me !

My heart is still in my mouth an hour or more later........

Hope your heart is back in it's normal place now.

If you're going to drive these beasts in the winter I would seriously recommend Race Logic Traction Control. You can be so more agressive with throttle application and not have to worry to much about the car swapping ends.

You also have the option to switch it off completly for big sideways action.

took mine out in the snow yesterday

took it verry steady

as it fish tails at about 40 in the dry

love it :D :D :D :D

steve

LOL mark u loved it really!

Mine hardly waggles at all now, did when i 1st had it with continentals on the back, even in the dry. Soon straightens up tho when u let the power off doesnt it.

The roads are slippery as fook tho arent they, damp and covered in slimey salt . Cant wait for summer!

Aha... "down" the on-ramp... guess where all the weight of the car is when going downhill

glad its not just me

spun car coming off the roundabout near work the other day

ended up facing wrong way on dual carriageway and that was scarey!!! road conditions werent too bad either, dunno if it was just cold tyres or just too much gas at the wrong time.

until then was convinced the car had rails underneath it but have been taking it a bit more cautiously since then!!

anybody got the traction control fitted, how much for it with fitting etc???

Quite a few on here have TC fitted. Best to wait for a group buy as I think it's around £500 with launch control.

Robin

Id probably be up for traction control with launch. Thing is I just loooove going sideways :D

i find it very hard to overtake people in the wet cos if i boot it i wheelspin all the way past them and its very difficult to keep it straight:D what a fookin great car:D
