Aren't the main beam bulbs just standard off the shelf jobs? I replaced both of mine, just took one into a local car shop. Can't remember the bulb type though.

I know the dipped headlights are different. Got a couple of spare jap spec bulbs after doing the conversion if anyone is desparate for them ...

Bulbs H1 - main beam ( 100w ok or 60w + 50 % brighter philips)

H3C - dipped, PIA Super White straight replacemient)

H3 - Fog, (60w + 50 % brighter type is OK)

Hope this helps

If you go to halfords you will see them on the shelf - however there is an extra wire on the Jap spec bulbs - Just take the wire off the j-spec bulb and solder it to the base of the halfords one !

No, you cant just buy one for your Jap Z - the bulbs are different - Only Nissan or other specialist can get them and they cost about £22 each and are only 55w..... Do a search and do the modification to either the housing or the bulb and then you can buy the H3 spec from Halfords.
