August 29, 200124 yr Its the annual 1/4 mile dash along Maderia Drive timed. Its great to spectate as there are some awesome cars as well as nutter bikers doing all kinds of crazy stuff. To enter you might be a bit late and the cost is around £80. To spectate is about a £10. Get there early to get a great spot on the starting line on the upper section. You are allowed to mingle in the pits.
August 29, 200124 yr Warren mate, how do you fit in your Z...you look about 6'4" at least??? Do you have to drive around with the T-bar off all the time??? LOL! Nevermind that...how the fook do you fit in a Metrocity??? Must bend the laws of Physics as we know it...ROFL! Sorry mate, but you are the Universal Soldier...WANTED for RANSOM aswell!!! LOL! Now where's that number for the SA Embassy again? Tim ;-) [This message has been edited by Timmy_Turbo (edited 29-08-2001).]
August 29, 200124 yr Tim, LOL. I have actually seen Warren squeeze between the two front seats of his Metro into the back seat. I don't know how he did it, don't think I could do it. Good point on headroom in the Z actually. I tried sitting in the car with a helmet on and it's a tough fit (and I'm only about 5ft 8"). Gonna have to adjust some things for Trax unless we can have the roof off (and it looks like rain so I'd rather keep them on!). Andy
August 29, 200124 yr Man the metro is a laugh he he he. i actually fit quit snug in the zed, i have my seat all the way back and at a bit of an angle, and the backrest is quite far back, but a problem with the helmut, i think im ogig to paint a helmut on the window lol and thena s i pull of my winow goes up and my helut comes of he he he
August 30, 200124 yr J Clarkson in his review of the Z said he could comfortably drive with a helmet on. You may think he IS a helmet, but he's tall.
August 30, 200124 yr He was too tall to fit in his all time dream car though...LMAO! Ford GTO...he's not a helmet, that's Quentin, J. is the man...anyone who can convince their wife to allow them to park a Lightning Jet out front in the garden has my vote...some of you will also relate to this... Mr. Clarksons lovely Wife: "It's like living with a three year old!" Tim ;-)
