Came across this over on the land rover forum. Its apparently for diagnosing problems on those wonderful solihull machines, but the downloads are free. Doesnt mean a great deal to me being an engineer and not too electircally minded, so thought you genius eletrickery wizards might know if its of any use.

 

(But Nick, we still need the special adaptor to connect it into the car with, and you know they are soooo expensive)!!

nope, fraid not. we dont have OBD2 diagnostics, too old!!

What OBD2 is too old, or our 300s are too old to recognise it?

our cars are too old, they dont conform to ODB2, which is a standard set of fault codes & a standardised connector (similar to a SCART lead)

So it shouldnt be too hard to get holdof connectors to make up a dianostic cable to connct up the computer to the car by the sounds of it. Unlike the 300 where its cheaper to buy conzult than the connectors!!
