Apparantly, my suspension is going to piss.

what do you think, replace or upgrade?

If upgrade what direction should I go? What are some good brands you lot have had good fortune with?

I've got Koni shocks and Blitz springs on mine. Pretty nice combination. Not too firm and snatchy like some track oriented setups are but handles really nicely.

I have the same setup as John, no complaints at all

I have Tokico adjustables (for damping not springing) and standard springs. Going for lower springs can mess up the wheel camber and need further fiddling to avoid heavy tyre wear, not to mention grief with speed humps etc.

I've got a full Endless Zeal Function B6 kit, fully adjustable racing coilover kit - pretty hard but superb handling.

Blitz springs and Koni adjustable shocks for me too,SUPERB!

kyb adjustables and eibach springs for me

How much did you spend on your kit Macca?

Shocks £400

Springs £200.

My UK Shocks are gone (methinks), so Im having them replaced with Japs at Zworld. Im also having 40mm lowering springs put on - do you think this is a wise idea?

UK shocks are much better than the ones on the Imports. They are much firmer and give more grip. Import ones are very soft and no where near as good. This is why UK shocks are £90 and Import £20 or so. If you want to up rate them I would not put worse shocks on with new springs. Plus the lowered springs and soft suspention dont mix personally. You run the risk of smacking your under carrage on things.

IMHO 40mm is too much! you will only end up wrecking the exhausts etc,go for the Blitz springs.

ok , Ive been told that the jap suspension is the same as the uk without the solenoid? is that right too?

DO you know if there's any difference between the UK suspension and the US market version.

What kills me about this car is I wish I had bought the turbo, but couldn't find one around when I was shopping. (I'm visiting forces and had to buy one I could take back to the states)

anyways, long story short, do I upgrade even though I'll likely be trading it in for the TT soon after I get back to the states. (not a sure thing either according to the missus...)
