Morpheous Geodesy

Anyone got one of these,

How do you rate it?

Just how annoying is it with a radar detector going off too or do you not use one anymore?

yes, I feel some kind of order comming on... just working out the options... Seams OTT to have a row of Morpheous, radar and jammer boxes... the funny thing is I last got done by a cop timing me, no protection against that... Unless anyone has a smokey detector like in Cannon Ball run?

These are excellent, I want one! Advantages are that they constantly update the database of cameras round the U.K. You just plug in to the web once a week or so and update the box. Also, if you look on ukspeedtraps.co.uk and look at some of the nastey camera tripping devices that the RoZZerZ have at their disposal, RADAR is the least of your worries. Since RADAR detectors have been legalised the Govt. and the Pigs have accepted that they will lose revenue through RADAR. So they are now mainly using PIEZO activated cameras instead, which naturally your 300 squid Snooper can't detect. So I say that you can never have enough protection in yer motor...I want a Morpheus, Diffuser and Detector and if you ain't got enough tab lighter sockets in yer car go to Joe Maplins and get a multi socket adapter...LARGE!

Tim,

Only a technicality but it might be relevant to some people's thinking - radar detectors have not actually been legalised as such. A judge has decided that there is no existing law which, when taken word for word, actually makes their use illegal.

It would be a fairly wild gambler who would put money on a relevant law not being passed at some stage.

I hear that some English people caught with them in France have been made to take the detector out of the car, put it in the road and then run over it ! Not sure how much truth there is in that but I'd personally want the garlic munching copper to hold it in his teeth.

Fair point mate, mind you that's the FrogZ for yer...snail eating...hang on a minute, better be nice to them from now on! LeMans next year! LOL!

I had the police, swat, helicopter out for my nutty fake American ex-Nam vet. wanker neighbour a few years ago(these things happen when you live in Deliverance territory, especially when you upset some fruitcake that has shotguns etc. etc.) and after giving the statements one of the coppers was stood in my front room. Those buggers don't miss a trick do they? Buried under a pile of magazines he manages to spy my Snooper detector box...starts pointing at it whilst looking at me! Excellent police work officer, however, as I pointed out to him...not illegal to own such a device in Blightey, just illegal to be caught using it! Which he acknowledged laughingly!!!

So maybe in Trance they can make you do that, similar childish antics of the law have been known to occur over here. My mate once got stopped by a bike copper who had seen him chuck a crisp packet out of his Bimmer, made him walk all the way back up the road to retrieve it before bollocking him!!! WTF?

So, next time you're hurtling along and you here the blues and 2's giving it large behind you...just remember to unplug the gadgets before you pull over! Not guaranteeing that the smarmey Bacon joint won't severly have a go at you about having it whilst maintaining a grin and addressing you as Sir all the way through the repremand...wankerZ!

I know it sounds great, but no-one seams to have one for comment (one one that doesn't sell them, that is!)???
