But a Supra Turbo could well beat a ZXTT!!! Before I had mine chipped etc. my wife's Supra was faster!!! Sorry for that but even I have had to admit it.

Mine is a standard Jap TT auto, and my mates got a 6 speed tt Supra, he only just gets away, and I mean creeps away. An NA is easy.

Well, after a month of dual ownership I would say that they are both neck and neck. The Z is a lot more ragged and eager with the power, the Supra is a bit more laid back and gentle. Then again, flooring it in a Supra is a life or death experience. I swear the rear is made out of snakeskin!!!

 

I like them both, but the reliability of the Z means it's got to go at some point.

 

Besides, the 300ZX meets are better than the Supra ones. Average age of a supra owner is about 15 years and 9 months...! I feel much more at ease with the curmudgeonly type of Z owner.

 

In answer to the original question, who would say that a NA Z would spank a TT Z...(silence)...thought so. Having driven both of those, it would be a good comparsion to make.

Must agree with Phil, Stock Z feels quicker but on paper its slower. However Phil:D rip those cats out stick it at 1.3 bar and beat GT3's!!!!

Anyway, a "perfectly" running SWB NA Zed will beat a perfectly running NA poop.

Steve mate, unless you've got rid of those Snow tyres you'd be a brave man to try any sort of acceleration :eek:
