:D that brought a smile to my face on a Sunday night:D

I enjoyed watching the zed kick butt - always good to see original jap muscle kick £30k worth of metal :-)

Wonderful. £5K of 13 yr old Jap' metal wone by a mile.

Tim

Kewl that it one but a shit feature really, only 5 secs of Z and matey boy called it a fat wobley american thing.

That was it really.

Well it was built primarily for the US market, so there's a degree of truth in that statement.

A good bit of PR for the Z32 whichever way you look at it.

Tim

great to see :D A full 1/4 mile would have been better though, the old tank would have had chance to really build up a gap :p

****in *****x ****!!!

i missed the whole prog (again) damn this 7 pm start.

anyone taped it and going to put the whole episode up?????

i saw the last 3 min with the zed beating the 350 on it.

I noticed in the studio that they had a escort cossie and a focus rs, what did the ydo with them???

anyone know when its repeated????

  • Author

They raced the cossie and the focus.

Its a hard one as to which won though:rolleyes:

and anothert thing... that must have been a fix that last race because the 300 actually ran for a few seconds without breaking down... how often does that happen????

lol bet it went home on a trailer though!!!

:D

The 300 got a real shite start! I bet it was a manual

bugger i missed it someone put the vid up:bow:

Owner of the zed has been on here a little ( Mr Willets) , the private number was a give away he was at a meeting at Solihul last year, think the car had genuine 30k miles on had been previously owned by a Nissan director or something similar.

Yes MAC, defo a bad start, auto would have launched away much cleaner

Jeff

The 300 got a real shite start! I bet it was a manual

Yeah, funny how they did'nt request an auto for the duel, prolly would'nt 'ave left the start line....:p :p :p :D :slap:

Thoroughly enjoyed TG tonight, brought a big grin out:D , was shocked to see the last duel was 300 vs 350z, and was slightly concerned as it was only over a fifth of a mile not a quarter and as we all know how the 300 performs on the getaway, i was well happy to see it trounce the350, would love to see how big the gap was over a quarter tho. Anyways it was mint:cool: :D

Well i've got the whole thing recorded on my sky+ at im guessing 800x600 but it will be huge and i can't be arsed to play around with it. I'm happy to upload it to anyone who can trim it down, ill just leave it goin over night.

I was at work when i sow it. There where about 10 of us and we all seem to be cheering for the zed. Well funny as they all know i got 1.

At first i thought shit the zed not had a good start and thought damn its gonna lose but boy when it got going we where all cheering. It was bloody good victory for us Z32 owners. Next time some poncy 350z owner pulls up to me im gonna show him what real power is like. :D :D :D

Fas

p.s. that is when it bloody comes out. :(

Not to take anything away from the 300zx, but it was hardly a trouncing now was it.

206 vs 205 = trouncing

350z vs 300zx = not

discuss...

;)

Didnt slaught there 350Z. But was interesting watching it fall back and then pull in front. I think you would have seen the gap get larger if the race went on for another one or two hundred yards or so.

At the end of the day it was all a bit of fun
