Right Dafty,question!

Do you like your autobox?

If the answer is yes, then have the fast road conversion done, and your autobox woes will be gone forever;)

Should think that running stock with a uprated auto box would be near bomb proof, never had a problem with my uprated box+torque converter, and neither has Mac with his,and were not stock by a long way:D ;)

That's right Tony;)

Makes me laugh when people go the auto to manual conversion:) ;)

it works out cheaper to have a manual put in than havving an auto put back in:cry:

Until your clutch goes, and you cant get into 5th and..and.. lol only kidding mate :D

I've only heard good things about the SE Fast Road rebuild. :)

Pete

I had mine done by Luke at Zcentre in the summer and it's brilliant!!

I know the clutch may go from time to time but I still think it's been well worth it IMHO.

Have to agree with MarkyB, I was kidding myself that I was happy with it being Auto and think it's almost twice the car with a manual box...

If you are going to replace with another auto don't waste your time/money with a replacement standard that may well die again inside of 2 years - like the auto boys say, fast road rebuild is the way to go!

Cheers!

After reading the various replies, im very intrested in this uprated auto box. Where do i get one? How much?:D :D :D :D

Mac is your man really ;) The fast road rebuild is done by SE Nissan in Maldon, Essex, now called Nisstech. Their contact details will be around somewhere. DO a search and their phone number should be available.

With flames???

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Mac - I can only comment on my own personal experience. I'm just happier with a manual and much prefer my car that way.

Also used to lose the back end regularly in the wet and found it *very* difficult to get back with auto box and no traction control - just dab the clutch with the manual and all is well.

;-)
