He's probably pretty much right actually.

 

Mine will do over 30mpg on a constant motorway run, but around town it does 15 to 20mpg. So average will be about what he's quoting.

 

At the end of the day though it depends on how you drive, if you drive as fast as possible everywhere with lots of acceleration and braking, 15mpg average is probably about right!!

Like 16mpg for me but its a 5 Mile to work run.

 

Then I puts her in the garage and am running my er...Nissan Primera..over the winter. Full fill up at the garage..38 squid and I keeps pumping..all over my shoes !. It runs forever (well 2.5 Weeks up to now). So Zed mpg is good for driving any other car ?

20 pence per mile for me, this seems to work out at around 17mpg

but this is just local driving. On a long run the mpg nearly doubles
