Anybody coming to Knockhill say Hi.

I'll be there with my Bros. They're going separately - they said I cant keep up with the Z. One has a Duc 748 the other a Triumph speed triple.

Been there done it and yes it pissed down but it was a good day. Separated the men from the boys on the track anyway.

Saw only a dark grey metallic import Z in the on-course car park. If anybody here was there I was the guy doing the barbeque (braai)in the rain. Takes years of South African training and scottish wet weather experience to be able to do that. Also creamed my biking bros and son and pal on the the go karts but got totally soaked doing it. All down to left foot braking technique as used in auto TT Z!

I was there mateys with my Silver Z.

I've never seen such rain at a race! LOL

Nice to see some flash cars being towed/pushed out of the mud in the car parks (including mine - traction control makes zero difference in thick mud!)

Those TVR Speed Twelves sounded awesome - made my usually meaty Z exhaust sound pathetic...

The import Z was mine. Blagged my way in because I said my car wouldn't get into the stupid park-and-ride field.

Couldn't believe the speed of those cars in the rain. If you've ever raced the track you'll know what I mean - its bloody tight.

Want my car to sound like the lister - brilliant smile.gif

I was parked not 50 yards from you. I could have let you hear my APEXIs. Not quite as loud as the Lister but not bad. I left before the mud got knee deep. Took some time but Z made it under own steam just.

Maybe Zee you next time. Missed the bogged down silver missile as well.

WillieO,

We saw you BBQ nutters across the track and nearly came over to join in the fun.

We were congratulating you on making the most of a bad day!

I was in front of the burger van on the corner near the path to the car park for most of the day.

The black TVR that was near the front for the first couple of laps spun off right in front of us.

Should have made some arrangements to meet up... :-(

Thanks. And next time we should make a plan to meet up. Did I read that you coerced some poor plonker onto a Gatso at speed? Shame on you! I think I better get one of those detector things before it happens to me! I just got a clean one again.

Willie

I certainly did and I can highly recommend it!

Makes the few hundred quid expense worthwhile.
