I've got an AVI clips of the EL dials but it's rather large (588,569 KB and I have no idea how to reduce it). Can someone possible host it somewhere?

Cheers

How long is it Vijay?

Erm Half a gig is gonna be hard to host, the first problem you are going to have is sending it to someone.

If you get hold of Pinicle studio 8 Kazzaand make it into a wmv or mpeg file you should get the size down to a few meg.

Sounds like it's full screen and full colour - you need a video editing package to lose some fat off it!

Pinnacle is only one of many out there....

(I use Adobe Premiere, but please don't send me the file!!!!)

I've sent you a PM Vijay. I work for a company that may be able to help you.

Cheers,

Russ.

Cheers guys. Russ, got your PM, may take you up on the offer.

Stuart, yes I have Movie maker in XP but how do I compress it?

Vijay

Load movie maker. Then in the file or in the toolbar on the left select import move. It then starts to make small previews click cancel as soon as you can. You will get a small screen grab of the movie.

Click and drag the movie on to the film reel at the bottom of the screen.

Then click save move to computer or in the file menu something like save movie as. Click that and then you get a list of what size of movie you want.

Click OK.

If you do a windows update and goto suggested updates, you can get Movie Maker 2 which is better. When selecting what to encode it as it has an option where you select a file size you want it to be and the computer will choose the resolution and amount of compression to use.

I think I can - email Alex at my work (from the PM). He should be able to give you a URL.
