Unfortunately you don't get money back on mods.

Geoff.

Looks nice, think i prefere a full tweed interior to whats been done with the seats tho!

Yup, those Recaros are nasty

True tanzx - buyers don't really want mods (speaking as a recent convert). You surely are better to sell a highly modd'd car either via the forums here or suitable trade comics. The only person who is likely to lust after you dump valves and race disks is either a convert who knows the metal inside out or a 16 year old who can't afford the toy.

I've found an unmolested 90 TT Auto fresh import with leather and dealer warranty. Yes she might need new tyres soon and I will have to get her serviced for peace of mind. But after that I can build/tune the car I want (er.. standard scares me for now) not one that someone else has had a crack, however decent at.

To a certain degree i accpet that you dont get your money back for modding your car but usually if its an rs turbo or similar which are pretty cheap to mod but real performance cars do usually get decent prices for stuff thats been done properly, you only have to look at my other post
