I have a UK 91 ZXTT 92K miles black in very good condition with all the bills, right down to the oil changes. The thing is I never drive it. to be honest I have not driven it for almost a month now. It would make sense to sell it but as I have had it for almost 5 years now and look after it so well would the money I get for it be worth the effort of selling it. I do not need a car as I live in london and work in the city.

Should I let it go to a good home or because I use it so rarely should I keep it until it dies?

Any thougths, and what is the going rate? I know this is not the selling forum but I'm not sure what to do.

The going rate for Zs is going down and down. If it is not really costing you anything where it is, I would keep hold of it and make myself go out in it. Go for weekends in the country with your misses/girlfriend/girl you just met. I have been on 3 holidays with my Z I think it made it more enjoyable.

I've been saying that for years and never got around to it. Thats why I am considering selling it

Its 100% totally your choice. Its you who owns the car and only you know if you are better off without it.

I considered selling mine earlier this year.....blimmin' glad I changed my mind though.

However, if you've managed to go a whole month without driving it you may be better selling it on. No car likes to sit around doing nothing....it's not good for them either, as bits and pieces will start to seize up...and that'll start to cost.

I guess value depends on condition rather than age/mileage, so if it's a corker it's probably worth £6-7k to an enthusiast. Seems poor to average ones are going for £3-5k at the 'mo.

If you sell now and regret it, chances are you'll be able to pick up another.

I've decided the only thing I'm replacing mine with is a 350Z, so I should have mine for some time yet :D

Hey ev, I suggest holding out for a year or so........so i can buy it for about £3K (hopefully).

I may put it up for sale and see what interest I get, if the price is right and bearing in mind it does not get much use I might just let it go. The thing is that I have resisted the temptation to modify and apart from the exhaust have kept it stock, I know it sounds stupid but I would hate the thought of someone taking it messing with it and then piling it into a lampost.
