Might be a bit stupid but do you need new gaskets for fitting tail lights? My lights are cracked and im replacing them with a 2nd hand set. Dont want water getting everywhere.

There aren't any gaskets on the lights - just a gooey glue sealant.

 

When I changed my rears to 99 spec I felt there was enough of this goo left on the body to make a good seal on the new lights.

 

If you don't feel there is enough on yours then give me a shout cos I have still got the new sealant left that came with the 99 lights.
