I popped down to east london breifly to sort out a few car things. Decided to take a pic while the car was out the garage.

Sorry couldint help it. ;)

Its getting there.

Iv also decided to go ahead with lambo doors. Should be something different (but depends on if the guy is willing to do it though so might not happen if he decides he cant do it)

omg awesome :D

so low, looks grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat, but im not so sure your new kit will appreciate speed bumps much ;)

Looks great Faisel, how long more is it going to take?

Cheers guys. Im starting to realise all that stress and hassle that i went 2 might be actually worth it now.

The kit is very low literally it scrapes on small dips but the kit is being designed round the fact that when its at its lowest and then where gonna higher the car up as i have Tein coilovers (thanks to james) so it can be used for a daily drive. Its going to all the shows and will be dropped to the ground and when its gonna be driven about its gonna be highered up so it doesint scrape over ramps.

Geoff itll hopefully be ready by mid january if all goes well. I went to predator and i sow gary's nismo zx it looks nice. He also gave me a excellent price on the exhaust and was well helpful. Thanks again for telling me about them. I swear iv seen you about near telford courts at hatfield uni. Ur car needed a serious wash if it was you. ;)

Nice one mate....

But I gotta a feeling that side skirt is gonna take a few knocks, it's gotta have about an inch clearance if that !!!.

The side skirt scraped all over the speed ramps when i took it out for the first test drive had to drive really slowly. Weve decided to raise the front about a cm and weve cut the side skirt by about another cm and moved it up. It should be alot better now. The final test run will sort out any teething problems as i will be trying to mount some big ramps.

Should work in the end.

Stu you still gonna pop round on saturday ill give you a call on friday and let you know what time ill be there.

You may have seen me passing the Hatfield occasionally and mine is so dirty you can barely tell the colour at the mo !

Andy do you have a aftermarket exhaust system and is it dark blue. If it is then you defianetly need to clean ur car.

Yes mate I'll be well up for popping over to hook up and check your ride out.

Give me a buzz today and we'll sort something out.

Looking real good, top job.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh i might have hinted it in other threads but im not gonna say yet. ITS A SURPRISE.

Hmmmmmm.....very nice. I'm sure it will be worth the wait to get it right. I hope you can get the Lambo doors fitted, pure rice, but I love the look!

  • Author

All depends on the fella who's gonna fit them for me. Im crossing my fingers when i go see him on saturday.

It's definitely different - a proper cruising machine! The Lambo doors would just set that off. It looks like you're gonna have to be *sooooooo* careful with it. I dunno if I could be, and I am pretty careful with mine. Not sure if it's possible, but have you thought about hydraulics? Even if they're not extreme they might help out when you wanna drive a bit harder.

Bangin'! :D

Lookin' gooood but I think your springs broke mate! :D

My wheels scrape the wide arches and I've got a couple of inches more than you.

There's also more room between the tyre and bodywork on my Z ;)

Why not get the Autoloc electrically operated lambo door kit ;)

51x - hydraulics cost way to much about £3000 i think for a proper system for the zed.

Chrisc - just wait and see itll all work out in the end. Its in the test stage right now. All shall be fixed in the next week or so where just aligning things up first.

Jay - never heard of it. This guys kit is relatively good 2. Hes just done a Pug 306 and it looks crazy. So im happy with it.

It wasn't my car Faisel that you have seen in Hatfield, mines metallic grey and mostly kept clean, it's garaged which helps.

Geoff.
