Spent a few hours on Monday trying a few things out, and myself and a friend raided his dads work shop and polished a couple of coil pack brackets.

I would suggest buying a ยฃ20 bench grinder from your local DIY store and fitting the polishing wheels to it, it's much easier than trying to use a hand drill, you'll be amazed at just how hot the metal gets, and how much black crap gets into the air so please do wear the face mask.

Nice Idea Stuart, started me off again.Got a spare set from Andy Z arrived today.Spent this afternoon stripping and polishing.Tried NITROMORES to remove black paint finish, would'nt touch it.Got the paint off with the wire wheel jobbie on me grinder plus used me Dremel for the hard to get at bits. Then swopped wheels for final polishing. As there made of mild steel. Will drop em into the Chromer's in the morning,I was there yesterday to pic up the front strut-brace I had them chrome, well chuffed with that.My plenum is to be swopped soon for a pollished one when they fit the 555 injectors and bigger intercoolers plus alter the chip.Thats it then as regards the engine bay.Cant thing of anything more to glitz up.Unless some body has any more ideas............Vinz

My God Vinz. 4 months ago you told me you where stopping spending on your car ;)

There is always something else to bling bling up. Look at the real nice engines in America. They have colourd bolts and screws.

Hi Stuart, swopped every bolt you can see with stainless ones and all the rest with stainless allen key bolts. There are bludy loads of the little blighters.Just finished changing every jubilee clip for "Mikalor" ones the full marine stainless ones including the bolts. You can really tighten these babys up.Bit dear tho at ยฃ137.00 for twenty one of them, but there worth it.........Vinz

Perhaps you could bling bling some dirt then if there is any? ;)
