Hi Tony,

Awaiting a similar kit to arrive from the states, (customer ordered) so will be undertaking the fitting and full conversion hopefully in the coming weeks.

I plan to do a full photo diary of the job to show how it is done, and how it looks at the end and the customer is.........? well... it is a forum member but I could`nt possibly say who...just yet.

mmmmmm, will be up to you soon, will ring to arrange for aircon etc,any idea as to how much this conversion will be,like the idea of these doors;)

Ah ha so thats 2 forum members that are getting Lambo doors.

*****cks and i wanted to be one of the first.

Ahh well the more the merrier.

Come on jeff tell us who the other member is.

Fas

Why would you want them?

There's no practical purpose I can see, any advantage to not dinging you door on a neighbouring car in tight spaces is completely defeated when the neighbouring car driver opens his door!

And even the Jeremy Clarkson idea of reversing whilst half in half out (as demonstrated on last night's top gear) is daft, unless you've got a stupid rear spoiler, of course.

This is total Uncle Ben's Easy Cook lads!

I presume there hydraulic or spring loaded , that could be quite amusing on a J-spec when someone opens the door with the seat belt still attached to you  and you break your neck :D

   Don`t start again

 Sorry guyz , private joke ,,,but we all spoke about this in the pub at the awol meet in slough ,, bloody funny, some of the things said:rofl:

What about them low height ncp car parks , your bang your door when you get out ,,jap spec,if you haven`t hung yourself first

Does that mean that the seatbelt is not attached to the door in a uk car? Reason I'm interested is that I don't really like it attached to the door and considered moving it. Any ideas??

Cheers

Rich

I think it would look nice

Its about being different

Check this car it looks bloody nice.

Anyway my 2p on the subject

I'm not sure on that one although I agree with what your saying I hate mine on the door as it a real PITA , I was just going to try and get a 5 point harness set up at some point

I am pretty sure the guys on here with UK cars will enlighten us as to whether there seat bets are attached to the doors or not

Ryan

Hello Ryan,

No the seat belts are not attached to the doors on UK's :)

Vijay

the best bit about vertical-opening doors when some fecker parks way too close in the car park, and you know what it's like with our long doors - it's takes a skinney bugger to get in! With vertical - no problem!!

Would I do it? If I had the money yes

Thanks. MIne is about to get retrimmed, think I'll see about converting them!

Good thing about the J specs is you'll never get car jacked if you and your passenger have got your belts on!!

Sadly I never wear mine so i'll just have to keep my doors locked!!!
