Does anyone know of a cure for excessive wind noise from the driver's window at high speed? The seal seems to be fine and the noise appears to emanate from somewhere where the glass edge meets the B pillar. Before getting a new seal is there anything else I can try?

Thanks

LOL. Slow, Zed - sorry Arthur, the two simply don't mix. Seriously though, I get the noise anything above 60ish. In fact, it sounds as if the window is slightly lowered but is actually closed.

Martin - how would the seating of the wipers effect wind noise on the driver's window?

I recall reading somewhere that the windows can be adjusted to tilt inwards or outwards. Anyone tried this and if so, what's the procedure?

Thanks Guys.

Shahid,

I had this problem when I first got my Zed.

What I did to resolve the problem was to unscrew the bolt that holds that part of rubber to the B pillar and then I slid a small piece of wedge shaped rubber behind it just so that it raised it slightly, and then bolted back together again. Sorted it out for me.

I think I posted something about this a long time agao so do a search and you might find it.

Cheers

Cos

My wipers used to sit too high and at speed wind noise was a constant problem (admittedly near side more). It was funny that I noticed a noice reduction when the wipers were on, so I got the wipers repositioned and sat correctly. Problem solved ;)
