I don't care for the carbon fibre items - too "max power", but the black ones don't look too bad.

They also do the crystal indicator/side light lenses for about us$90.

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

:D

Yup, pure rice.

Nice to see someone coming up with a new design, but FFS they could have come up with something tasteful

ok ok i think i quite like them - the black not the carbon, but it is really difficult to tell without seeing them on a car.

I know i dont like the fiat lights - there is something that is just 'wrong' about them.

Regards,

Alex

I like em........ but then again I've got graphics, logo's an alu twin plane rear wing and (soon) neons, so WTF do I know??:D

Rice Rice Baby!!!

I think they would've been better if those lights didn't poke out so much. And also they look really old! But something to be said about something different.

Actually, I saw some of these on e-bay the other day, and had I not just invested in a set of 99's :), then I would have bought them.

I too, don't like the Fiat rears, but as per Adam, I am now starting to wonder about my taste too :D:D

Am also thinking about graphics .. but not 'til I've installed me neons.

Basmati or Arborio? :D

I think they would've been better if those lights didn't poke out so much

They look a bit "Enzo-Ferrari-ish" to me

I have been looking for some bigger diameter round lights for the rear of the zed for ages.

I'm not sure how these would look, but I agree that the FIAT option is just too small to look good.

Just check out the back of a ferrari, Aston V8 or even a skyline - that would be luverly!

Has anyone ever done a major rear end rebuild to get bigger lights on?

LOL Jimbo .. unlike your jokes - which are always fresh as a daisy! Of course ;):D

Yeah I'm not sure of them either. The Fiat ones do look too small.

Yeah the Skyline ones would be great if a way could be found to remodel the rear to accept them.

Geoff.

its a great idea, but those just look shocking, put some nice modern units in and they would be great.

For your taillights, also checkout zxdriver.com, The 300ZX Tail Light Conversion kit comes with tools amd video instructions along with pictures and text and the best looking clear inserts available... also available is cleanr Side Marker Conversion and new custom T-Top Shades and etc.. pretty interesting items for the Z... very unique

I assume the brake light/light is also the INDICATOR ! US stylee

smithy

I have the full Paul Bailey rear end and I think the round lights really suit this kit but I'm not so sure on a stock Z.

I was looking into the rear lights from the new Lotus Elise, they seem to be a similar size to the Fiat ones but are a bit Ferrari like.

Bet they cost a fortune though.

i saw a some nice lights on the rear of a supra......doh:slap:

dammit 1st i like the gearbox and now i like the rear lights is there no hope for me:confused:

still anyone know if these could be made to fit? I'm sure anything is possible with enough time and money.

regards,

alex

Yeah ... I'm sure I can remember a picture of a highly-modded 300 with Supra rear lights and a highly modded front too ... looked bloody awful IMO (the front, not the back), I think it was at last year's Billing. Perhaps someone's gotta piccie, though?

So, I guess the answer is yes - it can be done, after all that rambling :)

It's this one I presume:

PUG_Z.JPG

Peugeot 206 headlights and Supra rear lights.

Didn't look a bit like a Z but there's a lot of work gone into it.

I didn't even bother taking a pic of the rear  LOL

Chris have you got the rear view too?

I know I've seen it beforem but I can't seem to find the thread where these were first posted.

No I felt a traitor taking pictures of anything Supra!

It was Billing 2002 though if you want to search.

wow fair play to the guy - that must have taken loads of work,

the lights were similar to the back end but they were the crystal version.

alex
