im looking to buy a set of de-cat pipes in stainless steel for my jap import 92 TT, cam anyone suggest a good make/company dont mind splashing out if i get something good for it!

 

yes i no itll fail emmission test, ill just bolt cats on once a year for MOT! and im expecting turbo seals to pop, just in case they do!!!!

Yep , buddy i think you are ok for 92 ,,,,,i`ve just fitted my ss down pipes from "z centre",,and they are top quality,,well worth the money and bolted straight up , to a HKS system ,,,i was amazed:eek:

And that thing about the turbo seals popping , with the back pressure ,etc,,can be down to the fact that the seals are worn anyway, and because of the cats you would not see anything coming from your exhaust, when they are removed you get more comming out and you get pressure differences on overrun and lifting off the throttle anyway as std,,,so i wouldn`t worry to much,,,,it depends on how many miles your engines done and oil changes etc.

Mine sounds so much better ,it revs smoother and quicker,,and the seals seem to be fine :dance: :dance:
