I ask me some questions about the power increase on my Z.

If I increase the pressure from 10 to 14 PSI, it will generate some reliability problems, yes or no?

To increase the pressure, what is the best device? Gas reducer or boost jet in pipes?

Thanks in advance for your advices.

Hi yer zyx300,,,,welcome!!!!

To answer your questions ,It would help to know what mods have been done to the car ,,,induction,,,exhaust etc ,,,but as a guide upto 13psi has been regarded by respected guyz here with workshops ,,as ok, with reliability,,,,,if you have good equipment to start with ,,,,,,but i`m sure some people will be running higher boost than that and argue the point ,,,but that is up to you!!!!

Oh yer,,,, boost controller is a good unit to use ,cause you can alter the boost depending on what your doing ,,,ok

To increase your boost presure you should really chip your ECU. Increasing your boost with out chipping your ECU could cause damage.

The cheapest way to increase the boost is with boost jets. Problem then you wont know how much the boost will increase too. But "Safty Boost" will still work if your car starts to detonate.

The best way is to get a boost controller. Then you can change the pressure from inside the car to what every pressure you like.

How much money are you wanting to spend?

Hi guys,

At this time, I've a JWT pop charger and I'll have a Greddy SP exhaust system. I think change my clutch later.

I've a chip I find on this website "http://www.ztechz.net/" which propose free downloads. Files are 300 and 310.bin. A friend use it for his z. I've the chip but I don't yet test it on my car. I would like to know what is the "clearer" solution to increase the pressure.

My project was to buy a pressure gauge and one reducer. How must I do the connections?

Thanks.
