Oh man, its only a matter of time before the whole damn thing is ripped out uncerimoniously by some twatty county hall inspired arse carbuncle road bump shit. frown.gif

Cracked the thing today, just a small crack (oooerr wink.gif ) but goddam it it sits an inch off the ground. I cant cope with the paranoia (see previous post vis Class A's ).

Is there a set of front shocks I can get that will raise the car an inch or two at the push of a button (yeah right! we all know the Knight Industries Two Thousand was real smile.gif )

I have seen da Gangsta homiez doing it in America, so they can cruise Compton and South Central.

Glen - shocks wont raise ride height - springs will wink.gif

Suppose you could get a full low rider kit on the car for a few thousand (seen it done to all sorts, including a Renault 19 and many Beetles).. Very cool looking - god knows what it does for the handling though!

Az!

Me too bud (or strongbow) wink.gif

Jees i cant keep outta trouble in Lincolnshire for craps sake - the flattest damn county in the UK smile.gif

I was listening to ICE Cube on the winamp and just had this idea about bouncee bouncee homeboyz in the hood gangsta Zeds.

I'd probably get a cap busted in my ass anyway.

Never mind, I got some Oasis on now, so I guess it is time to drive the Zed into a swimming pool and kill Robbie Williams.

Mad for it.

Glen Veilside Tarquin Bentley-Mad Max too.

you can get a set of ride height adjustable suspension for as little as 400squid although you would have to adgust it with car of ground i think.

but maby set it up for daily driving and then set it up for racing when you want

I'm on the home made baileys (yea yea girly drink I know.. but it tastes like about 80% proof and i've had nearly a litre)..

Warren - Yep pretty sure you have to adjust coilovers off the ground, plus you'd probably have to take the wheel off to get at the spring platform to move it..

Still that's only maybe 10 mins a corner..

Easier to have the full on hydraulically adjustable suspension though wink.gif

nuff respect to the Baileys.

It :

a: tastes like Mars Milk-shake

and

b: gets you drunk

Glen,

I know this may sound pretentious but believe me it is for real. My mate's Diablo in the USA does what you're after at the flick of a button. Don't know what system Lambo have installed but it is definitely possible. Looks weird though - I mean a Diablo with it's nose pointed skyward by 2"... Perhaps you can get intouch with Lambo in the UK to find out more info - long shot but worth a try.

Cheers!

Dan

This is exactly what I was asking for in the thread about suspension. Got Rice said he'd make a system for £7000 but I've been told by a few people that a system like this should cost £900-£1500. I've yet to find one though but if you manage it, let me know.

Andy

It was a serious idea actually chaps, Andrew I remember Phooey mentioning 7k for such a system, but if i could have something that rose the front of my car a couple of inches on request that cost around a grand(ish) then id go for it.

You see at SE monza nosecones are £500+paint. And it is gonna get twotted on something I can just feel it frown.gif

You need to buy a new Lamborghini. They do have suspention which rises at the flick of a button. Sell your Z and save another £120,000 or so and you might be able to get a second hand one

Stuart

Nahhh I already have Lambo headlights and those are crap wink.gif

LOL. F40s and F50s have this suspension too BTW.

I'm sure it must be available from somewhere. I haven't had time to look into it properly as I'm not looking to buy straight away but if you find anything, let me know. If I find anything, I'll post to the list.

Andy

Defo Andrew smile.gif

As anyone who has had spoiler scrapage will testify to, there is no worse sound.

Except maybe Jason Donovan.

If i find some uplifting suspensionness ill let ya know m8

Peace.
