Are there higher wattage bulbs that can be used?

Featured Replies

I tried using 100W bulbs for a while, but they were blowing on average once a fortnight!

They then caused the insulation on the wires to the bulbs to melt!

So I put 55W bulbs back in and had the headlights realigned and it's much better now - still not great, but better, and I haven't blown a bulb for months. :-)

snap my bulbs are shite......im gettin johnny to sort me some out as i dont mind drivin in the dark but my passengers when they are foolish enough to travel with me find it very unnerving mmmaaaaaaaauuuuuhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

group buy through GPS maybe........

Contact Paul Bailey at Paulbailey.com. He provides super white PIAA bulbs imported directly from Japan for the Z's. Brighter than stock and they give out that cool bluish look.

Speedlab have the Central20 HID conversion in for the 300ZX. Its supposed to wire/plug straight into the existing loom blah blah blah. Cheaper than to Nissan HID kit.

If anyone wants to try it and let us all know ;-)
