lookin for a new exhaust for me jap swb tt zed. saw a silver zed with 5 inch twin pipes (one each side) that sounded awsome but i dont know what sort of pipes they were. i need a twin 4 or 5 inch system that sounds good but dont know where to get one from. also my car has a cat and theres a real bad rattling noise comming from it what do i do :confused: :dance: :dance: :dance:

The rattle near the cats could just be the heat shield. Get under the car and have a look at if it is.

 

If it is the cats, they could have collapsed which can cause engine damage. You can get them gutted or get new ones.

Or just get yourself booked into Tube Torque in Macclesfield, they can build a made to measure system to any spec in Hi grade ss, with ot without cats!

Hi yer mate , First whats the year of your car , cause Mr M.O.T. man will be looking for cats , when doing the emissions ,,, i think 92 is the cut off date check first or you might get a lot of grief expense,,,,, and as i understand it the car -ECU will re-mapp it self if you change any of the induction or exhaust parts of your car simply buy ,,disconnecting the battery for 8- hours ,is it some thing like that , and then when you connect battery and drive the car, its self learning and stores all the new info , so keeping the tune to an optimum,,,great in it,,,,,,,a zmen!!
