Hi Roy,

Put 'em across the block connector (not the connector on the TPS itself) - should be the two upper terminals (can't remember the colours). You need some fine stiff wire in the back of the connector to make a connection while the block is still connected.

HTH!

Apologies for hijacking this thread but can the TPS be opened for cleaning or doesn't that improve throttle reaction? Was just wondering if it is worth buying a new one or not!

Prob not worth replacing unless you're having problems with it. Pretty sure it's a sealed unit anyway so you can only really clean the terminals. I replaced mine to solve a problem which turned out to be something else - waste of £40 :(

RobH

I chickened out of doing mine in the end.

Took it to an auto electrician, fitted the TPS then got them to set it to my peferred voltage. The cost? well, sonce it took them all of 2 minutes.....nothing! Boom Boom! Some things can go your way sometimes!
